How can social transformation and change be facilitated? This question has become crucial in many places: in the public sphere, in politics, in social institutions and organisations. The effects of inadequate facilitation are becoming more expensive and scary. Therefore, we need methods and strategies that enable people to deal constructively with tensions, resistances, fears and conflicts.

The challenge of learning how to develop and apply sustainable methods for dealing with social tensions is a matter of concern for us all: as citizens, as workers and leaders in companies, as members of teams and families and as individuals.

With this conference we create a forum in order to make sustainable methods for dealing with processes of transformation more widely known and applicable for an interested and concerned public. By assembling key international figures who deal with the social and organizational challenges of our times we offer an exciting contribution the creative development of this field.
